Now more than ever before, you need to showcase your difference….or what I like to call ‘your true self’. And the best way to appear different is to remain true to yourself… it’s a sure bet.
That being said, does it mean that you should dismiss everything you see, hear about or experience from others? Absolutely not. However, to really position yourself as an innovator, as a creator of ideas, as a trendsetter…you need to use what you see and modify it so it is different, while at the same time, aligned with your values and your vision.
Have you ever wondered….’How can I be different, how can I do something different, when everything already exists?’ The best way to tackle this is to ask yourself 2 simple questions:
1. What already exists that I really love?
2. How could I make it better (better as in ‘different’), being who I am, knowing what I know?
Today it’s so easy to access free written information, too easy I would say, as it only contributes to frustration, overwhelm and stress…because how do you know what is really valuable and what is just hot air?
Free information can get you started on the scary road of entrepreneurship, however it cannot help you all the way….and the worst part is that too much free information can lead you to crash if you choose to follow every single bit.
Another problem I have come to realize is that many successful entrepreneurs become ‘ghosts’ once success starts knocking on their door… it’s harder and harder to get in touch with them…and sometimes it is a challenge to work with them….because they never seem to have room for you!
This is why I decided to start changing the rules! Yes, I’m owning up to my differences. I’m all about results, for my clients just as much as for myself….I’m not for hype and fluff that only lead you downhill….I want you to go up….and up….as high as you wish and for that I put my energy, my work, my time and my name forward!
