Congratulations Christine, and I am so happy I made the choice to be on this project with you and author a chapter on Mastermind Brilliance for your book, Success in High Heels.

The Success in High Heels project has been amazing, and I do not mean that glibly. The women are so special, all with an important mission in life to help and serve others. I could NOT have been a part otherwise, because my mission with MargoDeGange.com and Women of Splendor is to bring healing to the world through meaningful life work and to promote those who do the same.

This project was so well done! Hats off to you.

Going along with what you stated here, I'll add that any JV project must be born of a deep sense of creating value for others, and must produce something that will REALLY help people live richer and more joyful lives. It can never be about money in and of itself, however, if a business (or ministry) project gives amazing value, it will generate money. So it becomes a win-win-win.

Love and hugs, and a bouquet of flowers to you!

I'm with Lisa - LOVE #1. Passion gives a joint venture wings to fly. It's the difference between convincing partners and prospects that it's a good idea and wearing your passion on your sleeve so they get swept away by it right along with you. "Shoulds" don't have this kind of energy and are much more difficult to stick with when the going gets tough or you bump up against technology (almost always happens by the way LOL).

Congratulations on your collaborative book and achieving another one of your dreams!!

Thank you Nadine. Yes the pink heels rock, don't they Charlotte?

Absolutely Lisa, if there is no passion if the ONLY reason, the main 'why' behind the JV is to grow the list, to get clients or to make money it' won't cut it! You need to love people, you need to adore serving people and you need to make sure you love what you do to simply be good at it. THEN the list will grow, the clients will come and the money will flow.

Many times people throw themselves in the wrong JV for the wrong reason and usually are disappointed by the results, if they get one.

The easy way is to focus on what you love and to do it with as many people as possible, with people sharing the same mission, the same values and the same goals.

Christine - Congrats on this amazing project! You have truly manifested it through hard work and passion. I love your checklist above. Particularly, I like number 1: Decide on a collaborative work that you are truly passionate about. That is so true... I see so many entrepreneurs doing certain types of JV projects because they "should". Wrong! That is a lot of time and effort to put into something if you are not passionate about it. And probably won't deliver the results for you or your JV partners. When you find the JV project, like you did, that feels like a perfect match, that is when the magic happens. You are so good at that and serve as an inspiration to those of us that get to watch your magic happen, or even better, who have had the opportunity to play with you in some of your JVs! :-)

Christine, you summed it up with 1) Don’t be mediocre, and 2) Set yourself in front of the right crowd!

I totally agree. We must focus in on a few great avenues where our marketing can be very strong.

Now, I personally do still believe that there can be TREMENDOUS value in eBooks, newsletters, telesummits, and JV's, but again the bar MUST be set far above mediocre!

Collaborate powerfully and choose projects that are laden with value. QUALITY collaborating with people from other countries is vital for international success.

I'll add that I am so proud to be part of your international book project, ‘Success in (High) Heels – 30 Day Diet Feast to Success’ because the value to readers around the world is truly tremendous. This is not a flippant, fly-by-night project. It took much commitment, thought, spiritual effort and hard work. It is so much more than a mere book! It will change lives.

Thanks for all you do Christine,

Love,

Margo

Thanks Nadine....LOL I like to be able to surprise you.

Yes Lisa we are all citizen of the same planet (at least I think so...). And true Charlotte, I like to say to people working globally is like living in another country as opposed to going on vacation. It's different and way more difficult. We all recall places we've been on vacation and loved it although knowing we wouldn't be able to live there...
